HKU Student Union Joins VIDIUS
Last year, students at HKU Utrecht organized themselves to collectively address institutional racism and the lack of democracy within the university. They founded the HKU Student Union. After several productive discussions, VIDIUS and the HKU Student Union decided to join forces. The HKU Student Union will join VIDIUS as a committee. HKU Breaks Ties With Israel
Thanks to the tireless efforts of its students, HKU Utrecht has ended its partnership with Bezalel, the art academy in Jerusalem. HKU no longer maintains direct ties with them. At VIDIUS, we are proud of these strong organizing effort by Utrecht students, not in the least because since the June general assembly, VIDIUS has also been calling to “break the ties!”
