VIDIUS student union offers different committee which you can take part of
The City Committee tries to improve the student life in the city of Utrecht. In May the committee organizes the Week of the Landlord. A competition will take place in which students can nominate their landlord to be crowned the best landlord of Utrecht. If their landlord wins, the house receives prize money they can spend to improve their house even further.
Besides this competition several events will take place this week, such as a sustainability festival. Besides this the committee has a lot of freedom in deciding what they want to do. Do you want to organize a symposium, event, workshop or write an opinionated article on a student life related subject in Utrecht? Everything is possible! The committee meets once every two weeks to discuss plans and ideas. Are you a student with a passion for Utrecht? Join the City Committee! This committee is granted with the task of organizing one party in May 2019. During this night professors will be the DJ of the night. Besides there will be an award ceremony. During this ceremony the awards will be presented to the best student board member of the HU and UU.
